Stylewar's Peugeot 407 Directors Cut

Once again we were happy to with work director collective Stylewar and their brand new advert for Peugeot 407. From EURO RSCG Paris, the film follows a making of of the film which actually turns out to be the advert itself. The Mathematic production team were involved from the very beginning of the project to aid, in most part, the preproduction planning. Importantly we worked on the post-treatment of the stabilization of the two main car shots. We also designed, at this stag, the FX for the film and the virtual interface. We supervised on the shoot (see behind the scenes on our blog) and worked on the film till completion in post.




The 180° shot and the insect shot were fully created in CGI, including the backgrounds. The following making of takes us through the journey specifically for the 3D. It shows some of the wide range render/lighting tests did for the car, as well the initial tests we did for the interface and FX in the film.
